Out of 100 questions, only 8-9 questions were from this dump. So be careful if you totally rely on this dump to pass the exam.

I passed today with 815. Luck was on my side. This VCE is not valid as you see from the previous comments. It did help, probably about less than 20 questions were from this dump. I have been studied both 387 and the 397. Some of the questions were word differently, but using my experience and common sense, I was able to pass. Good luck everyone. I am still waiting for Joshua's dump. Once I receive it, I will let everyone know how vaild it is.

Many thanks to Joshua...his vce is spot on. I nailed the exam today in large part to his study guide. Hopefully the admin posts it soon for everyone, but there were at least 80 out of 100 questions on his vce. The remaining 20 questions were pretty easy. I felt like studying both the pass4sure 387 questions, Josh's vce and CBT nuggets had me over-prepared. The test was a piece of cake. Thanks Joshua!

The vce is pretty decent. I passed with a 815 out of 900 with just these questions and a book to reinforce subjects that I didnt understand. I studied for about a week averaging about 2 hours a day with two kid running around. There I would say out of the 100 questions that were on the test 25-30 were from the vce. You all should be just fine. Just do the questions and reinforce with a Sec+ book. Good luck.

Hey Guys, I was able to get hold of Testinside 769Q updated Aug 2009 (I never used TestInside dumps before so dont know how valid they are, if someone knows the vendor and its repute let us know).
I am in the process of converting them to vce. Please check my post in few hours. If someone is taking exam in a few days or coming week please let us know if TestInside dump is valid.
For my prep I am using current VCE, TestInside and CBT Nuggets.

I recently took the exam and used this test and the all in one book for security+. Only 8 questions from this dump were actually included on the exam (Sept 4th 2009). If I had not read the material I would have been lost. Don't count on these questions to help you pass the test alone, you'll still need to study.

Sorry, i couldnt reply earlier & you may be taking your test today already. Anyway, it looks like the administrator or the moderator of this website does not want my corrections [wrong about 1 qs maybe] to be posted. My previous post had been taken down. & so it happens that i didnt save whatever corrections that i typed here anywhere else but in total its not that many qs [about 3] that had wrong answers or different answers to them. You should cross refer to your study giude for best answers to qs which you cannot answer. Afterall in the EXAM, you'll be asked to select the BEST answer, not the correct answer but of course the best answer will also be correct answer.

Welcome, I guess i was lucky in that sense that i didn't come across even a single wrong qs in my real EXAM. Wrong qs didnt affect me in my EXAM because, if you know the answers to them, you can definitly answer any similar qs to that. & Yes i knew they were wrong even before the exams so i didnt completely rely on the dump files either; i only relied about 95% cause most of the qs are still valid. In any case, 95% is still something.

As for CEH :
According to my lecturer in my Institute, he claims that CEH is for someone above my current tertiary level education [Diploma] but who cares i'm still gonna go for it. Its just that i dunno when i will be applying for it.

I said the answer is B. Differential back up but when I show the answer it is marked wrong because C. Incremental backup is correct. I am fairly certain that what the question is stating that Differential is correct because at work I only do differential backups and do a full backup once a month.

Don't worry too much about passing, because you definitly will. Just make sure you can answer all the qs in the dump files. Only thing to worry about is how well you can score ;-) The top scorer [binc] here has a whole 900/900. Unless you wanna get that score as well, don't worry a bit. I tried my best & got 895 [same as Ben Token & a3abdelhafez]. hope you can join in the top 5 here as well ;-)

First off, i have to start by telling you that out of the 100 exam qs i took today, 83 were from this dump as well at the other dump [word for word]. As for the others, 9 were structured differently but are answerable, meaning if you could answer all the qs in the dump files, you should be able to answer the 9 qs as well. The other 8 were qs which you would have never expected but its all part of the plan. What i mean is that, the exam purposely includes these qs which you wouldnt have studied for because they are not in the syllable. Thus, you get the range 100 - 900 [not 100 - 1000] as specified for the exam. Furthermore these qs are just extras & they wont be used in grading your score. Also i am not supposed to reveal any qs which i was tested on because i had to sign the exam policy paper before the exam which specifically said that i must not. Because of that, to cover my ass at the same time to help you, i shall give you tips on what topics to take note apart from the dump files. Tips should help you answer the 8 random unexpected qs.

- Mobile phones OS [1qs]
- HIDS, HIPS, NIDS, NIPS [1qs]
- SSL vs TSL [1qs]
- Penetration Testing [2qs]
- Management policies [1qs]
- Contigency Planning [1qs]
- LDAP implementation [1qs]

General comments :

I passed today with a score of 895. & if you are just saying ' hope every body get the same qs' my comment on that would be, Yes, most qs will be the same, although the test system will generate random qs for the individual. i'll try my best to take note of the qs that are not from the dumps & i'll post it up here, but no promises that i'll be able to remember them word for word.

i just passed exam SY0-201 today august 18 2009.
used the VCE 387 questions and 397 questions.
located in this link for server + 2008.
90% of the questions appeared.the thing is that the answers are the same but
the questions have been presented differently.
learn both VCE'S well.u will pass,my score was 885/900

Abhy, the passing score is 750 not 560, and the total time for the exam is 90 minutes.

I just gone through one of the site in that it is mentioned as 50 questions and a duration of 90 minutes (60 minutes for exam; 30 minutes allowed for candidate non-disclosure review and post-exam survey)for SY0-201 exam.
Passing score: 560 on a scale of 100-900 ,Is this info correct,Could anyone help me out pls..
