hey binaty king where did you write your exam and did you use only the dump or textbook
  • binary-king - Mar 02 2010, 11:34 AM
Just wrote today, I got 920. These dumps are valid in South Africa
  • ATX - Feb 25 2010, 4:41 PM
I passed on the 19th in the US. Only 32 questions out of 100 were from this dump. I have experience and was professionaly trained. This is a good study resource but do not rely on it to pass if using nothing else.
  • jay - Feb 24 2010, 6:14 PM
I would have to agree with JR. I took the exam as well yesterday and passed with a score of 800. If you are look for a slam dunk of a study dump this is not it. However, if you are looking for a GREAT study aid, this it it. Use this dump along with some type of textbook study guide and you will be able to pass with no problem.
  • JR - Feb 24 2010, 5:53 PM
Finished the Test 15 minutes ago Passed with 860. I used Richies 780 as a study guide and only 25 - 40% of the questions from there were on the test, so if you are looking for the exact question then these will not help, but they are a great study aid and cover most if not all the topics you will need when you used them with the Sybex CompTia Security and Review Guide. I pray this helps anyone wondering. God Bless JR
  • blaze123 - Feb 23 2010, 9:13 AM
Please advise if this still valid SY0-201?
  • Cyleron - Feb 22 2010, 3:11 PM
Hey all. I don't know where these other guys are testing at but I took the test on Feb. 19th and EVERY question on it was from these study guides. I used the one by Richie and RemixedbyAlex. I made an 895/900. I was worried at first because I was studying for the SY0-201 and when I got to the testing center my exam number was JK0-015. I asked the testing administrator why I was given this exam number instead of the other and she said they are the same test. Apparently whatever changes these other guys are referring to must be region sensitive. I don't really see how though. The Security+ exam shouldn't change until the end of the fiscal year which for CompTIA I believe is in September. Study well and know the material. Good luck to all!!!!
  • ern - Feb 20 2010, 8:38 PM
Where can I buy the latest dump?
  • Rasta - Feb 20 2010, 7:39 PM
No longer valid. Passed an hour ago with 840 but only 25% from these dumps. I knew all the answers including the ones that are incorrect in this dump.

If you do not know the material, you will not pass plain and simple. At least not until new dumps come out.

I recommend, CBT Nugget, LearnKey Videos, TestOut and Sybex CD+PDF 4th ed. Well that's what worked for me.
  • Gonzo - Feb 20 2010, 2:36 PM
thanks John, I'm taking the test next month. Just passed my MCSA, I'm trying to get into the business. I think the VCE will help but I'm also reading the CompTIA Security+ book 2008 version by Mark Ciampa. Is there another source of material that I might try to help me with the test?
  • john hemmingway - Feb 19 2010, 1:13 PM
Gonzo, there is 100 questions, i heard bad reviews for the slimmed down VCEs for security+, I study the richie 780q, remembered all 780 and only like 20 to 25 of the questions were on the actual exam...but the questions on the exam pretty much wanted to know whether if you knew which cryptography was stronger than the next...that and i had a question that asked something about if the servers blew up what kind of fire extinguisher would to use, was it class A, B, C, or D
  • butter - Feb 18 2010, 3:24 PM
could anybody tell me if this vce still good to prep on? im gonna try take test next week!
  • Gonzo - Feb 18 2010, 1:44 PM
btw...how many questions are on the exam anyway?
  • Gonzo - Feb 18 2010, 1:41 PM
780 something questions on this vce is a bit much. Has this been slimmed down to a manageable number that's accurate?
  • Linuxbug - Feb 18 2010, 12:20 PM
aaaaaa - base on last few comments it's hard to say but better you study CBT and other video study stuff for pass your exam, best of luck let us know about your result.
  • aaaaaaa - Feb 18 2010, 10:28 AM
cn sm1 plz tell me if i nly study ths dump ? will i pass .. i hv exam after 4 days . reply guys ?
  • brownrje - Feb 16 2010, 8:04 PM
Took exam today (Feb 16, 2009). Passed with 875. 67% of questions were from the top 4 VCE's (Richie, Anonymous, ReMixed and Sceptre). Had approximately 25 questions that were new, 8 questions that were asked differently than how the certs asked and 67 questions that were exactly the same as the above certs. I used Security+ in addition to using the VCE's as well as industry experience. Thanks to everyone who share/distribute these VCE's.
  • Linuxbug - Feb 16 2010, 1:48 AM
RoyBoy Best of luck and have a look here there are couple Security+ Q/A hope they will help you also let us know how these work for you http://certcollection.org/forum/index.php?/topic/20666-offer-comptia-certblaster-hook-upall-of-certblasters-test-outs/
  • RoyBoy - Feb 15 2010, 6:04 PM
    Thanks Linuxbug...
I had a look at CompTIA.TestKing.SY0-201.v2009-11-10.by.Sceptre.780q.vce This is nearly the same as this VCE. There are notes that the VCE was still good last week. I'm going to do my Exam next tuesday in Germany and need to study more on the questions, since the "english" questions sometimes confuse me....
  • john hemmingway - Feb 15 2010, 3:16 PM
man that sucks Ash, at least i got 20 to 25 on the exam...lol, still passed but man...lmao
  • Ash - Feb 14 2010, 1:27 AM
I took the test today in US. Hey all this VCE is not valid now. I just got 10 to 15 questions from this VCE. I Passed the exam since I had studied other materials too. I would suggest read other stuff and not to depend just on this dump for certification. Good luck
  • veritech - Feb 14 2010, 1:12 AM
Hey ppl, is this dump still valid?? I'm attempting this test next week.
    Thanks.
  • John Hemmingway - Feb 12 2010, 9:00 PM
VCE no longer valid, 201 updated about 20 or 30 percent actually on exam, just this VCE and no experience your in for a sure fail. Majority new questions. But I passed, start looking for a new vce
  • Certified Security+ - Feb 11 2010, 12:24 PM
Only 50% came up for me today. Be careful. Passed, just about!!!
  • Linuxbug - Feb 10 2010, 10:23 PM

201 test is the latest, the dump is right on...got 850/900...
about 15-20% of the test is pure comptia questions, what they want you to answer...
I understand that working on the subject is a must but passing the test, this is it.
  • Linuxbug - Feb 08 2010, 11:11 PM
RoyBoy -- SY201 is latest one because i am preparing for SY201.

  • lucia - Feb 03 2010, 1:40 AM
can someone post a revised version with fewer questions rather than 780 questions that wont be on the actual exam, thanks
  • Make_it_Happen - Jan 29 2010, 5:38 PM
Took the test today in the US - 860/900 this practice exam is as good as it gets. There are a few questions on there that are different but for the most part, this exams covers almost all the questions.
  • Ghost - Jan 27 2010, 8:45 PM
Does anyone know if this is still good??
  • Jimmy5 - Jan 23 2010, 6:43 AM
TRUTH and BOB sound like a couple of whinos

Well... how bout helping out and telling us your experience with this website that is designed to provide people with the study resources provided to assist you with exams instead of wasting stupid retarded posts of multiple paragraphs explaining a essay of b/s. It's all you typed is just b/s in your posts. Try being productive and not a little whining baby needing mommy's milk titties and it's diaper changed all the time.
  • I CHEATED - Jan 22 2010, 8:23 PM
Truth and Bob SHUT THE HELL UP
  • TRUTH and BOB are TIGHTWADZ - Jan 22 2010, 7:06 AM
WOW.... never seen two bitches gripe and moan about something and seriously take this to heart. Chill out ladies, WTF is all your bitching, griping, and complaining going to do? This is a website to help people... No shit if you get interviewed and don't cut it because you cheated on an exam, some people are jobless and can't fuckin afford the hundreds of dollars to spend on these exams so cut your stupid multiple paragraph essay writing about hard-work, studying, and back-in-my-time b/s and take advantage of this website to help you. I don't just use this website to help me confirm that I will pass the exam, I also used other resources to study for the exam.
  • NA - Jan 18 2010, 4:53 AM
Be aware that some answers on this are quite wrong.
  • NA - Jan 17 2010, 7:14 AM
I agree with linuxbug to an extent. These tests arent about how much you know about the subject. They are about how many acronyms you know, and what answer THEY want you to select. Ive seen several questions that could easily be 1 or 2 of the answers. Its really a terrible way to test.
  • Bob - Jan 15 2010, 10:56 PM
    Truth,

You are right the true always comes out at the end. People please do more than these dumps. These are only tools for those who know the job but maybe need help on test. Time should be put in to learn the job for taking these test.

    Bob
  • TRUTH - Jan 15 2010, 9:17 PM
Linuxbug- are you KIDDING me? This test is a joke. You should be able to breeze through it with less than a year's experience... OR by reading any of the official courseware books (Element K is a good place to start). Yes, there are a lot of acronyms and various technologies that might seem scary if you haven't used them in your job (or studied them), but you have to remember that ALL of CompTIA's certifications are ENTRY LEVEL certifications. Even fully mastering the material contained in this exam doesn't even begin to make you an expert in the security field.

That's why it drives me so crazy to see people cheating on these without studying or experience. It's like cheating your way through algebra and then trying to figure out calculus. If you take two weeks to actually read one of the books, the hardest part of the test will be figuring out what CompTIA wants you to answer (rather than the most correct answer).
  • linuxbug - Jan 15 2010, 2:00 PM
Bob/TRUTH i am agree with both of you but i sure you can't pass security+ exam without this dumps even you have 10 years of exp. because exam question is very complex even you can't predict anwser.
  • User01 - Jan 15 2010, 1:34 PM
This dump is legit.... Took the test yesterday and received 835
  • TRUTH - Jan 14 2010, 10:38 PM
    Bob,

Like I said, these dumps are great for people who know the material (ie, can do their jobs) but need assistance passing the test. Having the cert is great for getting your foot in the door. It just pisses me off to see posts from people who say "I passed the test using nothing but this dump, never had to use a study book, I'm going to go be a network admin now!" It devalues the certification for people who can actually perform the job. And believe me, if you have more than a few years of experience on your resume, not having an entry level CompTIA certification is not going to prevent you from getting the interview (unless you're working for the government where it's required). Once you get to talk to someone, they'll know if you actually know what you're talking about, or if you're paper certified.

I sympathize with the people who can do their job but need to get these anyway just because it's expected- I'm one of them! At the same time, people who cheat and pass these tests and aren't able to do the job only teach hiring managers that A+/N+/S+ etc are not reliable metrics.

What do you know about brain surgery? "Absolutely nothing, but it's okay because I have my medical degree!" After hearing that a few times I bet you'd stop trusting doctors solely because they managed to graduate. Even worse, imagine hiring one and observing them in the operating room, standing in front of a dying patient with no idea what to do. "OK nurse... hand me the screwdriver." I think you get the idea.

For people who just aren't good at taking tests but are actually skilled, by all means have at it.
  • Bob - Jan 14 2010, 7:07 PM
I love people who always have the right answer. Yes it will not get you the job. Only the people can perform that take. I was in the Navy for 20 years. I knew many people who knew their job inside out but could not take a test. The reason why I really don't know. I always knew people who could take test and knew nothing about their job. These sites should be for people who need that push to get them to that job where they can go from there. At these time people more and more take short cuts in life. The true always comes out. I dislike people who think they know everything about life. Always remember until you walk in someone else shoes you really can see their point of view about anything, This is all I am saying.

    TRUTH - Jan 14 2010, 2:54 AM
Mosh13 is right on the money. Cheating on these tests by studying a dump and NOT learning the material is stupid, and you're only screwing yourself out of the exam fee. Sure, having the cert on your resume might land you an interview, but what are you going to say when they ask about your experience? How about when the IT manager asks you if you're familiar with x,y,or z technology? Believe me, they'll start with the easy questions, and if you sit there with a blank look on your face you might as well be screaming "I CHEATED ON THE TEST TO GET HERE!"

It's one thing to use these as extra insurance that you pass after studying, or if you already know the material. To be fair, a good part of passing these is learning what CompTIA wants you to answer, and that's not always the most logical or "real-world" solution.

It's another story to fake it. The hiring manager is not just going to hand you a job for having this credential, and they're sure as hell not going to pose their questions in a multiple-choice format taken from a braindump. And what are you going to do if you do happen to land a job but then have NO CLUE how to do what's expected of you? Imagine becoming a doctor by cheating through med school. Same idea- nobody dies when your network goes down, but it's going to be obvious that you're incompetent when you couldn't prevent it, and can't fix it.
  • Anonymous - Jan 12 2010, 2:05 AM
Passed last week and 85% of the questions were from this dump. I studied all of the questions. There were 10 new questions but if you know your stuff it's not that hard. I used sybex's book to study as well.

  • mosh13 - Jan 04 2010, 1:30 AM
Alexo if you get a real job in network security it will be funny when your network get owned cuz you dont know shit about your job!
  • Mad - Jan 02 2010, 2:02 PM
I passed this exam today. I can confirm the last post to be correct
  • Alexoi - Jan 02 2010, 3:40 AM
I took the exam today 1/1/2010 and got 900 perfect score. Finished the test in 25 mins. I studied this dump only without reading any book. About 95% from the dump was in the exam, word for word. About 6 or 7 questions were new but different wording in question and answer. The concept were from the Certifyme. So if you studied the whole dump, you definately will pass this exam. My wife who has no computer knowledge but she memorized the whole dump and took the exam with me. She got 860. She has no use for this certification but just to have someting to show in her resume. The Joshua's dump is same as this Richie dump. No difference. Hope this help anybody wanting to take this exam.
  • Anonymous - Jan 01 2010, 5:51 AM
I have uploaded modified and uploaded this same VCE file.
I made set of 100 questions and removed the Wberlin Sans.
Check the file uploaded after this.

  • Wildside - Dec 22 2009, 3:34 PM
Took the test on 12/21, and Passed w/ a 900! Didn't recognize like 5 or 6 questons. This was an awsome study tool, the test was verbatum from the dump! Good Luck People!
  • Adam - Dec 22 2009, 12:03 PM
Just took the test on Monday (Dec, 21) and got an 870. I'm not exaggerating when I say I probably saw 95% of this dump on my actual test. It doesn't hurt to at least review the topics if you're completely unfamiliar with Security+, because a coworker of mine was unfortunate enough to get almost all scenario-based questions... BUT, this test engine was perfect. The questions were nearly word-for-word in every instance. A few questions I hadn't seen before, but CompTia even explains that it throws a few in each exam that don't count toward your grade. Definitely check this one out.
  • 808Hnl - Dec 19 2009, 9:29 PM
I took the exam yesterday. I got a perfect 900-900. There were six questions I didn't recognize, but was easy enough to answer because of going through this dump! Thank you and Happy Holidays!

    Thanks !!!
  • gerry007 - Dec 17 2009, 2:09 AM
Passed the exam today 855 out of 900. I would say there was 60 % word for word from this collection. Some questions were re-worded and some were new (you could probably figure out based on studying the other questions).
  • Satheesh - Dec 16 2009, 4:57 AM
I passed the exam with a score 880/900. Most of the questions from this dump. Only about 10 questions new. Thanks to all.

Still Valid! took it today and passed.
  • Sean - Dec 15 2009, 12:52 AM
Alex, where can I download the broken down vce and without the annoying letters that your talking about?
  • ALEX - Dec 15 2009, 12:00 AM
Use Visual CertExam Design Manager and you can print from there. I also "re-mixed" this dump and seperated into seperate 100 question exams so that you dont have to take the entire thing all at once. I also edited the questions and removed the annoying WSAN SERIF that was on the end of the quesitons. I take no credit in making this dump, only editing it and making it easier to study with. Enjoy!
  • shane - Dec 12 2009, 3:25 AM
Is there anyway i can print out all 780 questions pls ? Thanks

  • CCNA - Dec 11 2009, 1:26 PM
@ pete click Edit --> replace, a replace screen pops up. In the Find what: type WBerlin Sans then clik Find. After clicking Find you will see WBerlin Sans is highlighted the click Replace all then wait for Visual CertExam to replace it all. After finishing replacing save your file. Thanks hope it helps

For all of you out there still waiting/preparing to do the exam... have faith in these dumps but also know the material outside of them. There were around 10 questions (so approx. 10%) within my exam which were NOT in these dumps.

Mind you, if you're in the business of being spoonfed, I'm sure you'll get what you deserve anyway!

Best of luck to you all.

    Hey Jacamaruk,

How long did you study the questions. I have been studying now for a week but have not gotten it down yet...I'm still iffy. What do you suggest. I still know most of Security but sometimes it's hard to attain when you're not physically doing the work. No hands on. Can someone suggest where I can get hands on or who's hiring? I have 4 Certifications now.

Took exam today and passed 870/900. There were about 10-15 questions I had not seen before but if you know your stuff you'll be OK. I used this dump and the SYBEX book.
