no thanks, like I said, I already have it. I recently got it from someone with an account. When I saw the version number, I couldn't understand why it was the same as this one, but now I know why. That's why it also has the exact same number of questions.
Yea, that's weird, I have it too, but it's the exact same one as this one. That's why I asked you if you were sure it wasn't 7.0? I wouldn't worry about converting it, it would just be a waste of time. Apparently actualtests just updated the date without actually updating the file itself. Does anyone have anything good like testinside or killtest?
Just make sure it's a later version than 7.0, because any version that's 7.0 or earlier is outdated.

This vce is version 7.0, so if you have version 5.1, it's probably way outdated. The new version should be 7.1 or 8.0.

@fujo yes I checked it says 5.1 is that out dated? I know someone that has the lifetime for actualtests i know it was updated the 15th?
Does your version of the .pdf say "practice test 5.1"? Are you sure it doesn't say "practice test 7.0"?

Cool! I mean, we are arguing on the Internet! we both! look retarded to everyone reading this. Even though I don't agree with your views, we all have our battles to fight when it comes to gaining these certs, and in this economy the pressure is on. I do intend to pass the exam and will let you know what my score is (even if I fail) and how this test matches up.
Want my advice? Take this test now! using a section that you haven't seen any answers for, and see what your score is. If you can pass it, or come close, you're almost there - just read up hardcore while waiting for your test date to come around. Book the test, fu#k hoping for the"valid" dump - you can do it if you really try.
In the real world, you're a cheat, just like in the virtual world. If you want to prove your point, put down the dump, don't study any of them, then go take your test. Come back and tell us how you did. If you did well, then I'll admit I was wrong.

true, that is the difference between me and you, a minor difference. But the similarity is major, and that is we're both using a dump. And that is cheating. You're a cheater just like me and even the person who hasn't studied at all for the exam but is only using a dump. Call it whatever you want. I'm just honest with myself. It doesn't matter how you view yourself. comptia's the judge, and they would call you a cheat, just like those other people. And yes, you do care if the dumps are valid, are else you wouldn't be on here.
Note to others on here: I'm not attacking the is site or the many decent and helpful people who use it. It's just that some individuals on here want to tar us all with the same brush. It makes them feel better to have us all believe there is no difference between the guy, or girl, who memorizes answers with no understanding of the topic and someone who uses a dump as an accurate practice test, perhaps running through one set of question once or twice just to make sure they're ready.

Who says I didn't study. I've spent months studying for the Network+. But tell me something, if you think you can pass without a dump, what are you doing here? That's a bit hypocritical don't you think. For you to say you're using them as a heads up is nonsense. You're using them to get answers to questions. period. If you only wanted a heads up, you would get transender or something, you know, a real practice test, not a dump. For anyone using dumps to accuse anyone else of anything is hypocritical and stupid. The truth is that everyone here studying dumps would probably fail without them. I fear I'm one of them. Those who wouldn't fail without them, wouldn't need to use them in the first place.

Are you for real? You're sitting on your ass threating about not passing before 2011 because you can't find a dump that will give you all the answers, when you could just buy a study book for a few quid and use your brain to learn. Tell you what, I'm glad that you're screwed if that's the case - because I wouldn't want you as a work colleague or fixing a friends computer if you're so inept at IT that you literally a can not pass without a dump. I'm not even anti dumps - using them for a heads up on what to expect in the test or just as an icing on the cake, but you're taking the piss mate. I have my test booked before 2011 because re-certifying is going to be the mother of all bitches, you're a right to be worried. Too bad you didn't study...

There was one question on subnetting. It gave you the output of an IPCONFIG /ALL (PC's IP Address, Subnet Mask and default gateway). The IP Address was in a different subnet than the Gateway and they wanted to see if you knew to either change the subnet mask to include the gateway or change the IP address of the gateway. Other than that, no questions on subnetting.
Know that 224.x.x.x is the IP class reserved for Broadcasts.

I've been posting this on all of the VCE links to try to help my fellow Comptia lovers out. :)
I passed this certification today and passed Security+ about a month ago.
What I've seen with both CompTIA tests that I have passed is that the dumps should ONLY be used as a study guide. I only had about 3 questions from the dumps I studied on the actual Security+ test and only maybe 5 on the Network+. For both exams I read the entire Sybex study guide and watched the CBT Nuggets. I then took two different dumps and did practice tests for about 3 days before the test (going through about 300 - 400 questions until I felt confident that I grasped the concepts).
A tip for Network +: Know your ports (SMTP, SNMP, DNS, SSH, Telnet, FTP, TFTP, NTP, NNTP, and DHCP just to name the tip of the iceberg!) Obviously, know your OSI Layers and what protocols run on what layers (i.e: UDP/TCP for Layer 4) and STUDY ROUTING PROTOCOLS! This was a bit of a weak point for me and I got hammered with RIPv2, BGP, etc. questions on the test! Also, I had about 4 questions on VoIP such as what protocols VoIP uses, etc. I did not study up on VoIP much and missed these questions. STUDY VoIP! -Mind you, every test is different... you may not get any questions on VoIP but I sure did.
