Hey guys if I were you I would take the new objectives. Leave the old ones alone because they mostly deal with the old OS's like win 95,98 and xp. Though you will see some xp questions on the new exam. It would look better on your resume and your job if you have the new ones!!!!

Hey earthdragon! The CompTIA website states the previous edition as 2006 edition. However, I heard that now the exam is known as CompTIA A+ 2007 edition 220-601/602/603/604. It's stupid to ask but i would still like to confirm whether these dumps are valid for the 2007 edition. There shouldn't be a problem as the exam is the same 220-601 and 220-602.

Guys I have a good news, don't worry whether taking 601,602 or 701,702, all those certifications are valid for life.
Here are some quotes they announced on Jan 25,2010 from http://www.comptia.org/news/pressreleases/10-01-26/CompTIA_Certification_Renewal_Policy_Clarified.aspx

"Current certificate holders remain certified for life; renewal requirement applies only to certifications earned on or after January 1, 2011"

"All individuals currently certified in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+ will retain their “certified for life” status with no requirement to recertify or retest."

"Individuals who become certified in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+ by December 31, 2010 also will be considered certified for life."

So just take the exam that you think easier for you, don't worry about expired.

Add to that, another 836. What I found that it helps using the designer and separating this exam into chunks of 100 or less. You keep deleting the questions that you know and keep the ones that you're not sure. Most people should know the correct answers to atleast 30% of this vce. Now, it's on to the 602.

Marked the ones i was unsure of so if i got it right i could still go back and LEARN it on top of the ones i missed :) . The exam definitely had some questions not in this dump. Many questions come from this test. Big Ups to earthdragon! Some questions are word for word, and some are worded differently. My suggestion, you need to understand the questions to know the answer. Make sure you know how to navigate through your computer and you definitely need to know the Fundamentals of computers (the ins and outs of the computer). If you went to school to study computers, and you were working in the field of a minimum of 2-3 years, you'll do just fine. I took my test yesterday (10/12/2009), and PASSED! I only used this dump to study and this is all you need. I went through ALL 980 just one time and took my test. Many thanks to earthdragon!

Studied with this dump for a few days, and passed with an 886/900. Amazingly accurate, as always EarthDragon!

Two questions that tripped me up.

You clean the pickup roller in a laser printer, what do you do with the cleaning rag?

a. throw it in a trash can
b. put it in a hazmat bag
c. place it in a container for oily rags
d. ????

A co-worker is being electrocuted, what do you do?
