The exam wasn't that much tough most of the questions i got from the dumps only.

i got the simulation

1) for correcting eigrp configuration between two routers (corrected it by changing the AS no to same no and by advertising the network which is directly connected with other router ). It was the simulation i practiced with 9tut website

Get the concept

# ACL
– Host B should be able to use a web browser(HTTP)to access the Finance Web Server
– Other types of access from host B to the Finance Web Server should be blocked
– All access from hosts in the Core or local LAN to the Finance Web Server should be blocked
– All hosts in the Core and local LAN should be able to access the Public Web Server

# EIGRP
Same scenario as here with just few change.
– Router’s names were Regional1, Regional2, etc
– EIGRP was not configure on Regional2 (first fault). I had to to it.
– On Regional1 definition to the network Regional2 was missing (second fault)
– Different IPs and AS number of course
– the “passive interface” was applied to the link between Regional1 and ISP (I didn’t touch it)

# VTP
same Questions as here but with some diffrences by the answers
– the Sw-AC3 was the root bridge for Vlan 1 ( all of the interface roles were Desg)
– by the Question:From which switch did Sw-Ac3 receive VLAN information ? the Ip shown by “show vtp status” came from Sw-AC3 itself. I chosed the Answer: Sw-Ac3 (local)
– the Configuration Revision of SwX was lower than bei Sw-AC3.
– The Question made me lost point is this one I think:
If one of the host connected to Sw-AC3 wants to send something for the ip 190.0.2.5 (or any ip that is not on the same subnet) what will be the destination MAC address?

VTP was acting up so i fiddled with it for at least 20 minutes until i got the SIM to type the right characters... SIM was not allowing me to type mac address-tabe

so keep doing different show commands so the glitch can go away..

Pass today barley but I only had 2 months to study.. Exam is extremely valid. I only did exams c, d and e and that was enough for me to pass with little time I had.

This exam difficulty is of that of the real exam but harder if you ask me. The key is to be able to do any exam C-E in under 40 mins without just memorizing questions ...The actual test is a hour and 30 long the Sims are on money. Give your self 45 mins for the Sims... I spent 30 mins on the eigrp and still had time to go... I finish this exam with 10 mins left on the clock.. You ant go back to prior answers so please read the tutorials before you begin the exam. There is plenty of time to do this exam with ease. Like I said train yourself to answers these questions in less than 40 mins .. I notice a pattern with these Cisco exams. If you know the material you can automatically eliminate half the questions..

For example... knowing the difference between a ip access group vs a IP access class... you need to know this..

Client, transparent , server ... what are there roles and functions??
Subnetting is a must you must also know how to do I quickly ..

@ichigo.. There could be between 0 - 45 VLSM & ACL questions. We cant give you a specific answer as Cisco's pool of questions are huge and you could receive any of the questions from the pool. I suggest you study VLSM and ACL very hard as they are extremely important aspects regarding networking. Grasp the concepts and you will feel confident. I used 'CBT nuggets' videos for VLSM & Subnetting and I know it like the back of my hand now.

When I was learing to the exam I used the Course materials from Cisco networking academy. There was actually almost the same exercies i had on the exam. I remebered that on every exercise there was a requriement to type "passive interface" on propler interface. In requirements on the exam I had only said to make a proper configuration without many details so I decided to coinfigure it. I am not 100% sure that it is a mandatory requirerment to type a passive interface but I configured it though. As I recall passive intarface makes stop sendig eigrp advertisments. For example interfaces that are connected to hosts should not be participating in eigrp advertisment. It is pointless to send eigrp advertisment in interface where are only hosts. It is not so safe as well... Do not misudnerstand that with the "network".
Resum:
to proper configure eigrp process we should type:
-router eigrp 23 (if 23 is numer of given AS)
- network x.x.x.x (type as many times as direct connected networks to advertise all connected networks)
- no auto summary (to disable eigrp's automatic summarization)
- passive interface fa0/0 (for exaple fa0/0 - all interfaces where no routers are connected to, as I said above)
If there was everything configured in proper way the log should appear about making new adjacency. If not problem needs to be solved on neighbour router with checking if there is proper configuration. I hope I cleard all of your doubts.

@ Maxi - I have got ACL, EIGRP. ACL Lab consisted of permiting one host from LAN to access the private web server and denying all other hosts. The second statement was to permit all traffic from outside network and LAN network to public web server. You need to be very careful with these ACL's questions because some of the questions are not accepted by virtual machine, which are accepted by real router. For exaple:
R1#(config) ip access-list 101 tcp host 1.1.1.1 host 2.2.2.2 eq 80 established
The virtual machine didnt accept that line, but its correct... To make things worse the error which appeared pointed on second dot of 1.1.1.1 which is tottaly wrong. I suggest to use the "eq www" istead of "eq 80" but as i said you must be very careful with that. Do not forget type "access-group 101 in or out" in proper interface.
EIGRP lab was quite easy - there was a eigrp process mismatch so i had to configure a new process and add all networks. Dont forget to type " passive interface" on interfaces connected to LAN networks. I had to add one network on other router as well.
You asked how many questions in this dump. Hard to say in percents, but i reviewed this dump and 9tut questions and i didnt have problem with any quesion on the exam. In other words 100% of questions I saw before. Good luck to all!
