I have found the correct answer to the question I've commented on.
Based on almost identical question found in 'Cisco CertifyMe 640-802 v2010-02-11 by Williams 822q.vce'
it would appear that in the Ahmed test the question specifies a maximum of 50 hosts per subnet whereas the question in the Williams test specifies at least 50 hosts making the 192 & 128 subnets correct.
It is therefore my opinion that the writer of this test has transcribed the question incorrectly.

It would probably help anyone else whose reading this to know that the question also specifies the use of a Class B addressing scheme :-)

In order to meet the requirement published in the test, one answer would be:
255.255.255.224 = 2048 subnets and 30 hosts
255.255.255.240 = 4096 subnets and 14 hosts
If you don't think my maths is right (which it is) then download the free Boson IP subnet calculator (google it) and then verify my posts.
I am write, the question is wrong (or the answer to the question is wrong)

If your word is true, what is the correct answer to this question??
If your opinion, that answer is 255.255.255.128 and 255.255.255.192 is the answer wrong

One of the questions is wrong in this, the one that's about having a minimum of 300 subnets and a maximum of 50 hosts. The answer (according to the test) is 255.255.255.128 and 255.255.255.192
255.255.255.128 = 512 Subnets and 128 hosts, too many hosts, max 50 remeber
255.255.255.192 = 1024 subnets and 64 hosts, still too many

This is 55 questions out of the TestInside 11.72 dump... all exactly the same.
its good practise still... so if you wanted to test your self... with the same amount of questions in exam with similiar time, use this & some sims from 9tut.com
