You are right. No need for the maximum command because you want only to have 1 specific mac-address to be able to connect.

Switch(config)# interface fastethernet f0/0
Switch(config-if)# switchport mode access
Switch(config-if)# switchport port-security
Switch(config-if)# switchport port-security mac-address 000E.0010.A0C3

Then more over if the questions says to define an action such as shutdown:

Switch(config-if)# switchport port-security violation shutdown

But Mazin..i am little bit confused about switch port security configuration...assume that we have a one specific Mac address and only this Mac address would be permit through the switch port so on those matter i think there is no required for this command(switchport-port security maximum.....) plz help me out........

Hi All,
I have successfully cleared my ccna security exam last friday with 977 markas.this dumps is still valid...but you must be care full about drag & drop. I have almost got all questions from the dumps excluding some drag & drop also I got a little different lab regarding port security like...

There was a specific Mac address and my tusk was to allow only this particular Mac address through the 0/14 switch port.
But this dump is relay awesome...so guys go ahead.....best of luck.
