@soniya,luckily I dint get any confusing q.for DND,I got one similar to ospf as we have in dump,but with different options,one option was dead interval 40 seconds,other was unicast,one something about partially mesh frame relay,rest I dont remember.for another DND,option were policy routing,routing,nat outside to inside,input account,and one more option was there I dont remember.All the best for your exam.Its not hard,go for it before it changed more.

@Mukesh : Belive me, the DND are pretty straight forward but do with carefull observation, we get plenty of time for the exam so we can spend time with each Q's, i completed test within 45 mins.

@Mukesh : DND was NAT outside to inside but i dont remember the options. but this DND is diff than the dumps one. and there was one more DND related to OSPF which i do not remember the options.

rest you can rely completely on 499Q's Dump :)

Took the exam yesterday. got 876.
Was rattled during the exam since I got lost on my way to the center and was very late.

No new questions as far as I can tell, but there were 2 modified questions in my exams. First one was Mismatched masks question showing some logs in OSPF, mine requires 2 answers.

Second one was a Drag and Drop with the Policy Routing option. Threw me off since it was slightly different from the dumps.

@Java.on the basis of this explanation..answer should be the entry with prempt(marked with P) because when router with high priority goes down, other router will takeover(because there is no active router left).When router recovers,it will prempt other router because of its high priority.


In case,we dont configure prempt,router would not be able to prempt after failure recovery.

Opinion from experts are most welcome.

An HSRP-enabled router with preempt configured attempts to assume control as the active router when its Hot Standby priority is higher than the current active router. The standby preempt command is needed in situations when you want an occurring state change of a tracked interface to cause a standby router to take over from the active router. For example, an active router tracks another interface and decrements its priority when that interface goes down. The standby router priority is now higher and it sees the state change in the hello packet priority field. If preempt is not configured, it cannot take over and failover does not occur.
