Passed today after few months of study - the posted questions are very valid and exam is passable just by going through.

Few questions are wrong - for example

When bandwidth command is used - the traffic can be forwarded in both scenarios (during congestion and non-congestion).

One new question I do recall about OSPF peer session. The syslog is posted in the questions. Following is answer.
- Connection is not established bcoz
- Hello timer and masks were mismatched

hey this dumps are very valid given exam on 20 oct from pakistan passed with 962 score and my finding are as follow
1. use ultimate, spike 448,the af and dscp values may be change so you need know how to calculate it the formula can be found on google and passforsure 409.
2. the answer choices are shuffle so use the randamize option in vce and there are no additonal choices added in the exam, so do not worry about that.
3. third many thanks to this forum and the person uploaded the stuff.

Passed with 972 by relying on spike's dump and corrections on this forum. I can say 100% valid but there were twist on the exam.
I could have finish this in 30 minutes but took me an hour as questions MUST be read twice.

I encountered 5 D&D including EIGRP, QoS, NAT Order of Operation, OSPFv3 LSAs and AF to DSCP Matching. Make sure you mastered all LSAs as given were changed. AF values except for EF were also different so make sure conversion is right. Eg AF 23 is 8*2 + 2*3 = DSCP 22

See twists encountered below.

ROUTING
Question on one way redistribution where answer is Fa0/1 because OE2 has a better AD than RIP. Check the exhibit again as RIP and OSPF trade places.
I could only select the best answer of Fa0/0 because OSPF has a better AD.
The accurate answer is Fa0/0 because that's the only interface to 192.168.0.0/24

QoS
The question with answer on UDP traffic between port ranges 16384 and 32767 and on DSCP EF traffic is no longer valid as class-map condition was changed from "MATCH-ANY" to "MATCH-ALL". The answer will now be D on this dump

QoS
Policy MAP TEST that includes 200Kb Video and 1M FTP. Video is now using bandwidth while FTP uses priority. They were vice-versa on this dump and therefore video is now allowed to pass beyond 200Kb during congestion.

The ip sla on Tos with answers 96 and 160 were changed so make sure you know how to compute for the correct ToS value depending on IP prescedence.

Make sure to REMEMBER the EXACT answers as choices were now shuffled.

B. Increase priority in the configuration to 100.

The correct answer is A instead of B.
Router is already configured with priority of 100 [see output (cfgd 100)] but went down to 45 because it was tracking Serial 1/0. With the track 1 went down, the decrement of 55 will be subtracted from the configured priority.
For B to be correct, the configured priority must be 106 and above.

Since both of the interface of the middle route is in the same major network (Class A), it will

There are 5 possible trunking modes for a switch port:
+ Auto: this is the default mode. In this mode, a port will become a trunk port if the device the port is connected to is set to the on or desirable mode.
+ Desirable: allows the port to become a trunk port if the device the port is connected to is set to the on, desirable, or auto mode
+ On: sets the port to permanent trunking mode.
+ Nonegotiate: sets the port to permanent trunking mode without sending Dynamic Trunking Protocol (DTP) frames
+ Off: sets the port to permanent non-trunking mode

In this case, we can guess the trunking mode of Switch 1 is "auto" (default mode). When in the laboratory, the trunking mode of the other end is set to "On" or "Desirable" so 2 switches can negotiate and the link becomes trunk with no problem. But when plugging to the network, other switches may have the trunking mode set to "auto" so the 802.1Q trunk is not coming up -> B C are correct.

Of course these switches need to be in the same VTP domain so that they can "talk" with each other -> E is correct.

Can someone convince me for the right answer. Blake raised it before and strike provides the link but I'm still not convinced of the answer as I think there's only two genuine answer for the DTP scenario.

The network administrator is trying to add Switch1 to the network, but the 802.1 Q trunk is not
coming up. Switch1 was previously tested in the laboratory and its trunk configuration worked fine.
What are three possible causes of this problem? (Choose three.)

A. The trunking configuration mode on Switch1 is set to Off.
B. The trunking configuration mode on the other end is set to On.
C. The trunking configuration mode on the other end is set to Desirable.
D. Cisco Discovery Protocol is not running on the other end.
E. There is a VTP domain name mismatch.
F. Switch1 does not support 802.1Q.

A. This is incorrect as switch was previously working, if it was set to off then it wouldn't work in the first place unless the examiner wants us to think that somebody might change the trunking mode before the admin connects it to the other switch.

B. If the other end is set to On, the only way it would not work if for Switch1 to be in Off which is not true as it was working previously.

C. Is possibly correct if Switch1 was set to nonegotiate then it will be in error if dynamic trunking such as desirable is configured on the otehr end.

D. No way for this to be correct as trunking will not work outside Cisco devices

E. No need to argue that this is correct

F.Sounds correct but hard for me to accept. Who the heck will manufacture a switch that does not support an Industry Standard unless they refer Switch as a Hub.

Which statement is true about TCN propagation?
A. The originator of the TCN immediately floods this information through the network.
B. The TCN propagation is a two step process.
C. A TCN is generated and sent to the root bridge.

Where answer in dump B & C .But I feel the correct answer is A .Please read the below information

Topology Change Propagation

When a bridge receives a BPDU with the TC bit set from a neighbor, these occur:
•
It clears the MAC addresses learned on all its ports, except the one that receives the topology change.

•
It starts the TC While timer and sends BPDUs with TC set on all its designated ports and root port (RSTP no longer uses the specific TCN BPDU, unless a legacy bridge needs to be notified).

This way, the TCN floods very quickly across the whole network. The TC propagation is now a one step process. In fact, the initiator of the topology change floods this information throughout the network, as opposed to 802.1D where only the root did. This mechanism is much faster than the 802.1D equivalent. There is no need to wait for the root bridge to be notified and then maintain the topology change state for the whole network for <max age plus forward delay> seconds.

dump is valid 100% passed on sept 9th, today with 970 plus.
some answers are suspect and i compared with actual test dump and chose what i thought was right but nonetheless no question outside of this dump came. dont listen to rumors, this dump as well actual test dump both are 100% valid

This is still valid, passed today 900+/1000, passing is score almost 80% need to score 790 to pass, total time 2:30 hrs, be careful questions will be from this dump only except for 2-3, but many answers in dump are not correct you need to analyze than blindly trust on them. Blindly trust should also make you pass with score close to 800+/1000. thanks guys for sharing this dump and information in comments below
