Oh yeah, I forgot to say there was a question about Frame relay. I had to use the Frame-Relay Map command to answer some of the questions about the DCLI's. Hope this helps.

I got one where you had to configure an interface using RIP version 2, although they let you figure this out. Also, in the same sim, I had to configure the telnet password and console password. I also had to configure a serial interface.

There was a sim where you use the show run command to get information ton answer 4 questions. I can't remember exactly, but I know there was two switch & two router questions. Hope this helps.

Pass ICND 1 today with a score of 888. This dump is valid. I got about ten to fifteen questions that I seen in the dump. I had one drag & drop and two sims. This dump is ok, but make sure you use some simulations or you will fail.

Took my icnd 640-822 exam today. got a 916 out 1000.

I studied for 6 months and used following to study :

This vce posted here.
640-822 P4S v2.83 (Brilliant, 10 or 15 Q where in the exam)
Cisco Press CCNA ICND1 authorised self-study guide 640-822
CCNA exam cram, CCNA 640-802 (first 11 chapters)
Packet tracer

I got 1 drag and drop, 4 simlet and 1 simulation confire rip v2, basic router (hostname, passwords, and ip address - had to subnet these first).
DO NOT forget to review Frame relay, you get a troubleshoot Q about it.
Don't worry about the time limit, I complete it in 50 minutes.
In 6 months I will go for 640-816.

DBC, To be honest, I'm still confused on which exam to take. Either take the easiet one (MS 70-290) or CCENT. For CCENT I still need to learn more. I tried subnetting once but it took me forever. I'm trying to get Boson, it will that do?

I'm trying to get packet tracer but could not get the resource as our country's ISP is blocking all that stuff. hehehe. When are you planning to take the exam mate?

Shawo , CBTNuggets Video is not enough.But is a great help in understanding how the network works, but you need to know the details too. If you watch only CBT you will fail on the SIMS. You really need to work with packet tracer from cisco and configure RIPv2 and Frame-Relay. Fast subnet thinking.
Last exam that i did i failed with 710 and had left 9 questions open.
I really did not watch the time , to bussy with writing and subnetting. When i got a pop up with how many time i had left, i got really neurvise and doing things wrong got then drag and drops, dude it was fucked up !!!

About 6 sims very very similar in p4s 2.83, 3 questions on Wlan, know what IDS is, my very first question was frame-relay...I sucked on that one...question choosing class A addresses...ip # 'starting' with...11xxx...85xxx...209xxx...128xxx..., question booting up a new switch (A=setup options), couple of drag & drop...including lan & wan devices...

Shawo, the latest sims you can get from this vce. About configuration RIPV2.
Also there is a sim about frame-relay, it does not require configuration but you have answer 5 questions , that require knowlege or good searching with /? to find the answer. And time is your enemy. So if you practice with packet tracer RIP V2 en Frame-Relay, you should not have problems to make the sims.
If you practive this vce , you probely get 5 a 6 questions ( inc. sims) if you learn AT you problely get 10 a 15 questions. The problem is that none of these vce like Microsoft are exacly the same on the exam.. so i can't advise you what to learn, only to understand the questions in the vce so i can help you if it written in other context. Also wi-fi radius overlapping radius are asked on the exam, channels area's ( prox. 1 a 3 q about wifi).

I just passed this exam on Monday with a 902. Having a router simulation application is useful for practicing. I did not use this exam though. I used a combination of Testking and examworx.

additional information:

I have checked Actual Test (AT) 640-822 , there is at least 20 questions dat came in the exam and it has a good explaination what the good answer is.
v.03.03.09. and practise with packet tracer , ripv2 ip assign ip ad to serials and fa interfaces.

Did my exam today and failed with 704 points, for best practise this vce is ok. But it is nog enough to pass CCENT, i got 5 SIMS and 2 drag en drop. Total 40 questions and got 4 questions out this vce and 2 sim. 1 sim to configure a router with RIPv2 , hostname , ip ad etc..Second sim was a hotspot out p4s with 5q about selecting the right q , by reading out a router.
You need to know fast subnetting , time is your enemy !! !!
I wil do the exam over 2 weeks, will keep you guys up2date....
