This Dump is 100% valid.. I passed exam last Monday.. Only one situation is wrong in on fo the ticket... Client is unable to ping (situation: not getting IP from DHCP) correction: Client is getting IP address but can not ping the Gateway and answer is VLAN access-map...

TSHOOT SOLUTION CRITERIA

First of all , When a TT come we must know the path to find the problem . The devices which will be containing problems will be ASW1,DSW1,R4,R2,R1.

Now , we have opene a ticket , the steps to solve are as follows :
First of all , use IPCONFIG on client 1 ,if it gives ip like 169.xx.xx.xx then the problem is in ASW1.
AS we have found that the problem is in ASW1 , the problem must be one of the below mentioned :
1) Access Ports not in Vlan 10 (Use show run to detect this error , if it is the problem then in running config you will see that the command "switchport access vlan 10 " is missing under the interface"
2)Port Channel/etherchannel not allowing Vlan 10 (Use show etherchannel command to detect this issue, you will see that the ether channel Po23 & Po13 do not have vlan 10 included in them. U can also use show interfaces trunk command to verify the issue)
3) Port Security ( Use Show run command and show port-security command to troubleshoot this issue ) One big trace to find this TT is that if client 1 & 2 cannot ping each other then it will be port security issue.

I have created an easy pattern which I used for myself during the exam to detect the type of TT and its solution .Will upload it here in few hours (Its a detailed one ) After this I am sure that if you just read that thoroughly ...U will be going to get 900 + in the exam ... Good Luck t o all of the upcoming CCNPs for this exam .

No configuration to perform on the exam infact ou dont have access to CONF T command.when u type "conf t " it will give access restriction error.You have to perform your tasks in priviledge mode. Just use a few show commands and wen you get the idea of TT just select it from the choices provided in the answers.

Yes the TT's are same till today ....hurry up and give the exam before they are changed .However it is not necessary that they will appear in the same order as before.They are usually given randomly but on the whole the 12 TT's will be the same

sorry friend about your friend .I want to clear a few things.First of all , all the TT's in the exam are from the same topology which are therefore same for every ticket thats why you were confused but please note that when u are done with a trouble ticket and click on the next TT to start the configuration of all the devices automatically changes internally without showing any status .The devices will remain the same but their configuration will have slight changes for every ticket (by change i mean their would be some error produced which you have to find out ). so please dont be confused that if the devices and the topology is changed how the TT's are different? the trouble ticket you solve will be for that configuration only.in next trouble ticket you have to once again follow all the steps again to find out the problem.

Hi All,

I took my exam yesterday. I didnot pass. 3 multiple choice questions first and then 12 tickets. I failed because of 1 reason of following reasons. I need some help to understand this situation.

1. When I clicked on Scenario of all the tickets, They are all same.
2. Layer 2 diagram is same for all 12 tickets.
3. Layer 3 diagram is same for all 12 tickets.
4. On top of that once you are done with a Ticket ... You cannot go back.
5. Tickets are random as well ... not same sequence as the dump either.
6. Last problem is you can select any device, with any technology and solution even though the issue is different.

My question is how do you know what the problem is so you can select the right answers?

Just Passed the TSHOOT exam and now a CCNP Alhumdulillah. All the TT's were the same as in networktut.com
Many thankx to Phantom & networktut and all persons who shares their useful knowledge.There was no Drag & Drop.First 3 MCQ's came and then 12 TT's .a total of 39 Q's in this way.Btw i got 986/1000 :D

but when you change one ticket to another, international pre-configuration are also change
So
Answers that you have to try are not the same on tickets

that are normal and you will face at exam like that problems
